School, the Retreat, the Prayer Furnace and church - Sunday Aug 29 2010

The Retreat, the Prayer Furnace and church (They all seemed to flow together to make an amazing week! This may seem like a conglomeration of stuff...but to me they were all interconnected making up my personal experience.) August 27, 28 and 29, 2010.

Friday evening, right off, I got a folder that had 3 amazing prophecies
for my life in it! What a way to start a retreat!

One of the first activities that we did on Saturday was an ice breaker
type thing where you tossed a cube to someone else in the circle and
called out a number. Then the person catching it had to read what
was written on that number on the cube. They were funny, like acting
out your fav Bible verse, make up a rap about 3 things you are thankful
for and perform it...then when it got to me it said, "Tell a lie that the
devil has spoken to you and acknowledge it as such and then laugh at
the devil and the lie!" I said that the lie the enemy had tried to convince
me of in the past month is that I have no friends. Let me tell you...it felt
so good to share that and to laugh and laugh with my "new friends" about
what a lie that is!! (Just let me also say here that my "new, as well as my old and precious friends" have been showing up all around to love on me and let me know they
care about me...they are amazing!)

Saturday Pastor Bill gave impartation of the glory that was flowing and there are no
words to describe it! Lifechanging is all I can say!

The Lord had given me this word during the showing of Furious Love
Saturday afternoon: "You so easily say that a lot of things tried to
keep you from coming to school here. It matters that you understand the
war and how far the enemy will go to keep the Kingdom from advancing!
He will attempt to destroy your life, your family, your reputation, and
your circle of support and comfort. Be assured that I have already
overcome and you are victorious in Me! I will restore whatever has been
stolen by the enemy! You have nothing to fear in the losses you think
you are suffering! It is a lie from the LIAR. In this battle know that
you are not alone and you are gaining EVERYTHING! The enemy is
defeated and is no threat to the Kingdom!"

Then on the way to church Sunday a.m. I was listening to amazing
music and praying and by the time I got to church and the prayer furnace
I was ready to hear from Daddy! The music in the prayer room was
quite a bit louder than usual and it was different. To me it was "happy"
and "adventurous".

I wrote "Lord, You have so filled me with Your peace and love today!
I feel free like a child. I feel like I could run and jump and chase butterflies!
I love You Lord! Thank You for the refreshing and refilling of Your Holy Spirit!
I am listening, Lord!"

I settled in and prayed for a bit, then started sensing pure joy and love,
happiness filling me up! I said, "I am still listening.", then I
sensed God say, "I'm playing!...come and play!" I finally got the message!
It was amazing...all I remember is sensing running and frolicking with my Daddy,
twirling and spinning along a garden path through the flowers!

As amazing as that was, it was equally amazing to hear once again
how He was getting a similar message to others in the prayer room!
Through the words of someone else there, I felt God showing me, "You have
come full circle...I am breaking off all the old junk and setting you free...
MOVE ON NOW!" He is SO GOOD ALWAYS!

Another amazement was how DANCING seemed to be where He was taking
us all, even in the church service this morning! The worship was awesome, the glory
THICK, and when Pastor Bill brought the message...HE CHOSE US FROM THE
BEGINNING AND ON PURPOSE, WE ARE SONS AND DAUGHTERS, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD...
he ended up doing "the happy dance" and standing on chairs...more Lord, more!

This was all once again affirmed with a fresh filling and impartation through Nancy
when Pastor Bill asked anyone who wanted prayer to come up after the service. She
said, "What do you want?" I said, "Whatever."...and God was faithful to deliver a LOT
of it! WOW! (And to think I spent such a huge part of my life not believing in such
manifestations of the power of God! That's okay, because God will restore to me
anything I missed in my stupid years! LOL!)

Thank You Lord for an amazing Retreat and church this weekend!

Thanks to all who worked hard to make it all that it was for us!
We need a dorm, cause this needs to be full time! Who wants to go home?
LOL! Not me!

Blessings and peace!

The Banquet

On August 1, 2010 in the Prayer Furnace God had given me the following vision as I was praying for all the people concerned in a very hard time I had been going through.

He showed me all of us together at some future time. We were outside at a banquet in a vineyard on an absolutely beautiful day, but we were outlined in thick, dark black lines, like it might be on a coloring book page. All of a sudden all of those dark lines were lifted intact off of us as a group (like a cage) and everything was just brightness and light as the glory of God fully shone on us after every evil thought and intention had been lifted off of us. I feel like God was assuring me that that day is coming when all of the works of the devil are destroyed and we will clearly see the influence we let him have in our lives. Even the best of relationships are tainted here right now as we seemingly unintentionally agree with the accuser/deceiver of the brethren. Lord, thank You for this vision and I so look forward to that glorious day!

Now, fast forward to Sunday evening August 22, 2010. I was driving to Sunday evening service at Shiloh. The sun was as bright as I've ever seen it! When I turned onto Old Buckingham Rd. it started to rain. The sun shown so brightly toward me through the rain that each raindrop looked like a tiny round crystal...it was like a crystal curtain I was driving through. Then over the fields, around each corner, was just brightness and glitter as the sun and rain shown on each and every blade of grass, flower and tree. It was so surreal! God was showing off just for me! In my spirit He took me back to the vision of August 1st and said this is just a sample of the brightness of my glory on that day with my bride! I love you dear daughter and I too await that great and glorious day!

I was laughing and crying and full of joy...and oh so happy! Thank You Daddy!

The REAL reason for the season! (Transfer from myspace Dec 2006)

December 12, 2006 - Tuesday

Who is really the reason for the season?
YOU ARE!

John 3:16-17 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

My prayer for you this season is that you BELIEVE and RECEIVE all that God sent His Son for...JUST FOR YOU!

Merry Christmas!

God is LITERALLY COOL! (Myspace transfer from Dec 2006)

December 12, 2006 - Tuesday

COOL!

A friend shared this with me today...so I am going to pass it on to you!

In Psalm 55:22 it says, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall SUSTAIN you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

The word sustain there is "chul"...pronounced KOOL (Strong's #3557) or COOL. It means to MAINTAIN, NOURISH, PROVIDE FOOD, BEAR, HOLD UP, PROTECT, SUPPORT, DEFEND; TO SUPPLY THE MEANS NECESSARY FOR LIVING. Occurring nearly 40 times, CHUL primarily suggests "TO MEASURE OUT A PROVISION OF FOOD," that is, "TO PROVIDE."

GOD IS COOL! Literally! Isn't that COOL?!

Adoring Jesus,

A New Commandment (Transfer from Myspace Oct 2006)

October 25, 2006 - Wednesday
A New Commandment...

John 13:34 says: So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

Galatians 6:10 says, Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

1 Cor. 13 says,
(1) If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
(2) If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn't love others, I would be nothing.
(3) If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing.
(4) Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud

(5) or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

(6) It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

(7) Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

(8) Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!

(9) Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture!

(10) But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless.

(11) When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.

(12) Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

(13) Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

In light of those Scriptures, I thought the following list was a good study of what our LOVE should look like according to the New Testament.

If you will notice, just as we are told to do good to all men, and yet the Scriptures say, "especially to those in the faith"...our brothers and sisters in Christ, some of the things in the list pertain to us concerning all men, and some things pertain mainly to the body of believers.

Enjoy and Be Blessed!

Teresa

Dreaming dreams...

Current mood: jubilant

One day quite a few years ago I had had a very bad evening. My husband and I were arguing and I went to sleep in tears, hurting inside. In the middle of the night I woke up "surrounded by LOVE". I wondered what is this feeling? It was an actual FEELING of peace, warmth, being loved, protected...and I suddenly remembered that I had been dreaming. I was on a beach, dressed in white flowing clothing...I was dancing in the arms of a man whose face I could not see, but He was dressed in the same type of clothes. I wasn't just in His arms, but He was all around me, saturating my very being...we were dancing on the sand with the waves coming in and going out and the wind blowing...not crashing waves or harsh winds, but it was like they were dancing with us. He whispered that He would always love me...I woke up, but I was still surrounded by the feelings in the dream, (feelings that nothing can compare with on this earth except the very intimate love feelings between a husband and wife...but only millions of times better). It took my mind a while to understand all that had happened. I actually went back to sleep and back into the dream...it was awesome! Though it was a long time ago, I still remember what it felt like and that it was God comforting me and letting me know of His great, eternal, intimate love and care for me.

Many years later, when I heard these words in a song...You dance over me, when I am an unaware, You sing all around, but I never hear the sound...it reminded me of my dream. I went to the Word and found Zephaniah 3:17...He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. (NKJV)

Thank You Father God for your mercy, grace and love that are mine forevermore! Lord I'm Amazed by You...how You love me!

A Lovely Engagement (Myspace transfer from Oct 2006)

October 3, 2006 - Tuesday
A Lovely Engagement
Current mood: ecstatic

In worship this morning, I was impressed with these things:

A picture of God tearing down the veil of the temple and stepping into the hearts of those who believe on His Son, those made a fit dwelling place by the blood of Jesus, makes me shout for joy, cry in awe, praise with all my being, worship in Spirit and in Truth!!

The fact that HE sought ME to worship (be intimate with, commune with) Him, sets my heart to dancing within me!

If this lovely earnest...deposit...engagement ring of His Holy Spirit is just that...a pledge and a promise, what must He have in store for all my eternity?! I can hardly contain the thought of all that this promise is in me right NOW! How could there be more still to come?

If the Holy Spirit is but the firstfruits of the full harvest of the cross, I can't even begin to imagine....the marriage...the HUGE price of the wedding paid with joy by Jesus!

Oh, Father God! Glory and honor to You forever and ever and ever!

How could I ever whine about anything in my life?

I rejoice in You Lord! I pray that I will not waste one moment of this engagement...renewing my mind...getting to know You more and more intimately until the marriage of the Lamb...blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb! (Rev. 19:7&9)

Grace and Peace,
Teresa

How's your worship? (transferred from Myspace blog from Oct 2006)

October 3, 2006 - Tuesday
How's Your Worship?

Current mood: jubilant

Are we hungry enough? Are we thirsty enough? Have we really been hungry and thirsty for the things of God? We don't wait for hunger before we eat again. We've never really experienced thirst as they have in some countries, yet the Word says that those who HUNGER and THIRST after righteousness shall be FILLED! (Mtt 5:6)

Are we looking for the worship team to "get us in the mood to worship?" If so, it's not going to happen. John 4:23 says, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: FOR THE FATHER SEEKETH SUCH TO WORSHIP HIM! How different would it be if you came ALREADY worshipping! Already praising, because you've ALREADY been with the Father...in the Word... and are so filled up you need to burst so it can flow out on somebody else? What a difference that will make in our worship services! We would no longer look like DEAD MEN standing with hands upraised! We would REJOICE in the LORD, SHOUT His glory, SING His praises!!!

SPIRIT TO SPIRIT worship...that is what we are reconciled for...restored to! In the garden, Adam and Eve didn't physically die when they fell into sin! Their spirit to spirit relationship with the Father died! He sent His Son to take sin out of the way once and for all and 2 Peter 1:3 says, According to His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust." He provided atonement...He provided His Holy Spirit as a downpayment/engagement ring...What AWESOME THINGS TO REJOICE IN! GOD IS IN US! He doesn't need to FALL ON US! He is in US forever, and will NEVER leave us or forsake us!!! So, knowing that, why do we hold back in worship! What are we afraid of...losing control?...looking silly?

In Ezekiel 47:1-9 it says...

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east and the waters came down from under from the right side of the altar. Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side. And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins. Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river. Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which is being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, withersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Are our feet wet? Are we wading knee deep? Are we in up to your hips yet? Oh, that we would have our feet swept out from under us and be carried along in the current! When we let down our guard and let the Holy Spirit flow in us and out of us...through us...lives will be changed and God will be glorified!

Remember the little chorus:

There's a river of life flowing out of me!

Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see!

Opens prison doors, sets the captives free!

There's a river of life flowing out of me!

Spring up oh well, and fill my soul!

Spring up oh well, and make me whole!

Spring up oh well, and give to me,

New life abundantly!

What will we look like to God in worship when we take the limits off God that we have put there and let His Spirit flow!?

Paul said we are unto God a sweet savour (2Cor2:15)...WOW...if we just get even a little glimpse of how much He loves our worship and seeks it...our worship would look very different!

Adoring Him!

Unbelief and the Parable of the Mustard Seed vision given to Gary Carpenter (Myspace transfer from Sept 8, 2007)

September 8, 2007 - Saturday
Parable of the Mustard Seed

In Mtt 17:14-21 the disciples want to know why they can't cure the man's
son. Jesus heals the boy and then tells them the parable of the mustard seed.
We have for so long been taught wrongly about this awesome parable.

Many a minister has said, "All it takes is a little faith in a big God!"

This is not at all what Jesus is telling the disciples. There are many places where Jesus speaks of "oh ye of little faith" and so on. Also, there is a scripture where he says, "I have not found so great faith!" So you see, He was not telling them that even a teeny tiny bit of faith is all you need. He is teaching them a much GREATER truth here!

He tells them that this kind comes out by prayer and fasting...only He doesn't mean this kind of demon or illness...He means the UNBELIEF of the disciples that kept them from casting out the demon.

This parable holds an awesome promise...If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed...
nothing shall be impossible unto you!!! I think it might be important for us to learn what He is trying to teach us, don't you?

If you are interested to hear the full teaching by Gary Carpenter go to this site -
http://www.garycarpenter.org/WalkingInMaturity.html and go down to lesson set 4 called
What Does God Really Want? These lessons are life changing!

The following parable is from the 4th lesson in the set and holds many scriptural truths!

Blessings,
Teresa

The Parable of a Mustard Seed

(Inspired by a vision given by the Holy Spirit to Gary Carpenter.)

There was a tiny mustard seed who was greatly depressed, because compared to
all the other types of seeds that he saw, he was the tiniest. The little mustard seed was small like a grain of pepper and would often just cry, saying, "I am worthless, I am the least of every seed that can be sown. Just look at that giant corn seed over there. It's huge compared to me and it has a rich golden color. I am totally insignificant compared to him."

One day a farmer hears the mustard seed complaining about its lack of size and power. The farmer tells the mustard seed, "You don't understand yourself at all. You are only looking on the outward appearance of things. Within you lies great potential. There is an image on the inside of you that has the potential to produce a plant that will be 10 to 15 feet tall! No corn plant ever grows that tall! In truth, you are much more mighty than the corn seed."

Now the little mustard seed heard what the farmer said, but it was kind of skeptical. However, it knew that the farmer had much experience in dealing with seeds of all kinds, so it began asking the farmer questions like, "Well, if that's true, how in the world do I get the image that's within me to manifest itself?"

The farmer replied, "Oh, that's simple, all that has to happen is that you must be
planted in the ground and die, and the image within you will come forth of itself.

"YIKES!", said the mustard seed. "All I have to do is die? What's the matter with you? I don't want to die! I just want to be powerful!"

The farmer said, "Well, but that's the way it is with every seed. In all of creation there is not a single type of seed that can continue to exist in its present state and release the image within it at the same time. Every seed has to be planted in the ground and die in order for the image within it to come forth.
Now, as a mustard seed, you'll no longer exist at all. You will no longer be able to be found, no matter how hard anyone looks for you. You'll still exist, but you'll be transformed in the process, while the image comes forth in you."

The seed responds, "Is there any way that I can remain as I am and still release the image within me?"

"No", says the farmer, "the transformation process won't even begin until you are willing to be planted in the ground and die. And there is something else you should know...the transformation process doesn't happen over night. There is a growth process involved. First the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear."

The mustard seed says, "Now wait just a minute, first you tell me I'm going to have to die and then you're telling me that even after I'm willing to make the ultimate sacrifice and pay the highest price, I'll have to endure a long growth process before I ever become fruitful? If I'm going to have to pay the high price of dying in order for all of this to happen, then I want to produce fruit tomorrow!"

Now the farmer asks, "What high price are you talking about? When I first heard you, weren't you complaining about how insignificant your life is? Weren't you going on and on and on about how worthless you are and how you so desire to have power? I'm telling you how you can exchange your powerless life for a tremendously fruitful one and now all of a sudden you're placing a high price on the same insignificant life that you were complaining about before? Now which is it? Do you love your life as it is, or do you hate it?"

Well, the little mustard seed thought about that question for quite awhile, and then it responded, "Well, I'm not saying that I truly love my life as it is, but at least I'm very familiar with it. I know this life that I now have, and I know what to expect from day to day. What you're talking about sounds exciting to me alright, but I think I'm afraid of the unknown. What would that life be like? Can the
process be reversed once it begins?"

"No," says the farmer, "It can't be reversed, but it can be aborted at any stage. Many seeds stop the growth process at the blade stage of transformation. They are changed from what they were before alright, but they are still not producing any fruit. Now they can remain at the blade stage for the rest of their lives
if they choose to do so. Some seeds go on to the ear stage and then they remain there. At the ear stage there are just the tiniest buds of fruit beginning to form and they show great promise of the harvest to come, but they choose to stop growing at the ear stage and never really become fruitful either. Only a very few
allow the transformation process to go on to completion so that they bring forth a mighty harvest, the full corn in the ear."

The mustard seed asks, "Why would any seed choose not to go on to the full corn in the ear? It seems to me that if you choose to die so the growth process can begin, you most certainly would not want to abort the process until the transformation was complete."

"Well," the farmer replied, "right now you are safe in my barn along with all of the other seeds, but once you begin this process and are planted in the ground, it would be like you're taken outside, planted in the field, and once you've become the blade, at that stage, you'll be exposed to the elements of the weather that you've never
really experienced before. You'll feel the scorching sun beating down on you. It's not always pleasant, but the truth is you need the sun in order to grow. You'll feel the rain coming down on you. Sometimes it comes as a gentle shower, and you'll enjoy that, but at other times it will come down in torrents and the wind will be
whipping you back and forth. The rain isn't always pleasant, but just like the sun, you need the rain to keep growing. Not to mention the many preditors that will come and try to take your life from you, such as locusts and grasshoppers. You should be aware that not all plants survive the growth process. Many just give up, wither
and some die."

"GASP," says the mustard seed, "you mean it's possible that even if I was to begin this process, there is no guarantee that I'll make it all the way to harvest?"

The farmer responds, "Sad but true. Many plants don't survive. The most important thing for you is to concentrate on putting down deep strong roots first, otherwise, when the sun is scorching hot you will wither. Concentrate on the roots, the part of you that can't be seen. Don't pay much attention to what can be seen above ground, even though that's the part of you that can be seen by others, because if your roots, the part of you that can't be seen are strong and healthy, the part of you that can be seen will be strong and healthy also."

Now the farmer continued, "It's also important where you are planted. The ground you are sown in must be free of thorns. It's possible that if there are thorn seeds there, they will become thorn plants and they will grow up so thick they'll choke the life out of you and you'll never bear any fruit."

Well the little mustard seed thought about this for a long time. Finally, he had to ask the farmer a question..."I believe you when you say that I have this potential of tremendous life on the inside of me. I have a question. Where did that life come from?"

The farmer answered and said, "There was an original seed sown by God. His name is Jesus Christ. He was the first seed in the earth that had the life of God in Him. He was willing to be planted in the ground and die in order that more seeds could be produced by His life. When you were born again, you became the product of
His sacrifice. You have His life within you and it will sustain you forever, but if you want to bring His life within you to maturity, to full harvest, then you must be willing to lay down your life as the mustard seed, in order that you can
become the full grown mustard plant ready for harvest. Are you willing to lay down your mustard seed life for the life of Christ within you? He died in the hopes that you would.

Help for our unbelief (Myspace transfer from Sept 2007)

September 19, 2007 - Wednesday
Help for our unbelief...

Hi folks!

I just have to share this with you all! I was listening this a.m. to Gary Carpenter's
series on Dominion, more specifically the lesson called "Practical Help in Believing".
This is not word for word what he taught, but a "mini-study", if you will.

Anything that is not a numbered point or a scripture, are my ramblings...not Gary's words.

4 Points I want to Share... (with Scriptures, not necessarily given in the lesson):

1) Gather God's Word to you! The Scriptures, as well as prophecies
...the Words directly imparted to you by the Holy Spirit by prophetic
utterance.

1 Timothy 4:13-16

(Amplified)
13 Till I come, devote yourself to [public and private] reading, to exhortation (preaching and personal appeals), and to teaching and instilling doctrine.
14 Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination].
15 Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody.
16 Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

2) Write down the vision.

Habakkuk 2:2-3
2 And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may (be able to) read (it easily and quickly) as he hastens by.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end (fulfillment); it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait (earnestly) for it, because it will surely come; It will not be behindhand on its appointed day.

3) Meditate on both the Logos and the Rhema Word! Give yourself wholly to them...when you sit down, when you rise up...

Deuteronomy 6:5-9
5 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your [mind and] heart and with your entire being and with all your might.
6And these words which I am commanding you this day shall be [first] in your [own] minds and hearts; [then]
7You shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate, and teach and impress them diligently upon the [minds and] hearts of your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
8And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets (forehead bands) between your eyes.
9And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

and then I had to put these in for good measure...

10And when the Lord your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you, with great and goodly cities which you did not build,
11And houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and cisterns hewn out which you did not hew, and vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and when you eat and are full,

When I read 10 and 11...God gave me a vision of walking through those vineyards totally worthy to freely enjoy and pleasure in them even though I had nothing to do with growing them! It was a SWEET vision! I wish I could show it to you!

4) Imagine it until it's so real in your mind that you see it, say it, sense it...until it touches your very being and comes alive in you!

2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV, because I like the word imagination here)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ...

The verses 3&4 had said,

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

You have an enemy who wants to steal the Word from you...he wants you helpless and hopeless. He does not want you to see the fulfullment of the promises of God for your life. He wants you sick and weak.

God, Who loves us with an everlasting love, and Who wants us RESTORED and WHOLE and IN FELLOWSHIP with Him, has given us the way to receive the blessings and fullness that He has already provided for us. As we do the things stated above, we will BECOME all He wants us to be and we will WATCH as His plan unfolds...His Kingdom COME...(in us now and in its fullness to come).

This is by no means an exact representation of all that was taught, but my impressions of what I heard this morning.
I hope it blesses you, as it did me!

Grace & Peace,
Teresa

Mirror Confessions (transfer from my myspace 2007)

"Mirror" Confessions (to be recited as you look into a mirror at least daily)
by Gary Carpenter

Regarding this passage of scripture, 1 John 4:17b ... as he is, so are we in this world. The Holy Spirit said to me, "Understand what John meant by that. He meant that as Christ is, so are you, while you are still living in your mortal body."

JESUS, I SEE YOU AS IN A MIRROR. AS YOU ARE, SO AM I.

2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD. I AM A SON OF GOD

YOU ARE HOLY. I AM HOLY.

YOU ARE SANCTIFIED FROM THIS WORLD. I AM SANCTIFIED FROM THIS WORLD.

YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS. I AM RIGHTEOUS.

YOU ARE RAISED FROM THE DEAD. I AM RAISED FROM THE DEAD.

YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN CRUCIFIED. I AM CRUCIFIED TO THE WORLD.

YOU HAVE ALREADY DIED TO SIN. I AM DEAD TO SIN.

SIN HAS NO DOMINION OVER YOU. SIN HAS NO DOMINION OVER ME.

YOU LIVE IN THE FATHER'S LOVE. I LIVE IN THE FATHER'S LOVE.

YOU ARE THE KING. I AM A KING.

YOU ARE THE HIGH PRIEST. I AM A PRIEST.

YOU ARE LORD OF ALL. I AM A LORD.

YOU HAVE ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND EARTH. I HAVE AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND EARTH.

YOU ARE ANOINTED WITH THE HOLY GHOST AND POWER. I AM ANOINTED WITH THE HOLY GHOST AND POWER.

YOU AND THE FATHER ARE ONE. I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE.

THE HOLY SPIRIT PERFORMS WHAT YOU SAY. THE HOLY SPIRIT PERFORMS WHAT I SAY.

YOU DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER. I DO THE WILL OF MY FATHER.

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO YOU. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO ME.

YOU CLEARLY HEAR THE WORDS OF THE FATHER. I CLEARLY HEAR THE WORDS OF MY FATHER.

YOU SEE WHAT THE FATHER IS DOING. I SEE WHAT MY FATHER IS DOING.

YOU DO WHAT THE FATHER DOES. I DO WHAT MY FATHER DOES.

ANGELS HEARKEN TO YOUR VOICE. ANGELS HEARKEN TO MY VOICE.

ALL THINGS ARE YOURS. ALL THINGS ARE MINE.

YOU WALK IN THE LIGHT. I WALK IN THE LIGHT.

YOU ARE PURE. I AM PURE.

YOU DO ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS. I DO ONLY RIGHTEOUSNESS.

YOU LOVE THE FATHER. I LOVE MY FATHER.

YOU LOVE ME. I LOVE YOU.

YOU LOVE PEOPLE. I LOVE PEOPLE.

YOU LIVE FOREVER. I LIVE FOREVER.

Tree of life x3 (Myspace transfer from March 2009)

Do you know that the Tree of Life is mentioned at least 3 times in the Bible, for 3 different seasons in life?

First there is the tree of life in Genesis...in the past. Once Adam had sinned the way to that tree had to be barred to prevent man from being eternally lost.

Then there is a tree of life in Revelation, which is in our glorious future!

The tree of life is also mentioned in Proverbs 13:12 in the present tense, and says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life."
In Christ you have a hope and a future. He has no plans to harm you, but to bless you with good things and plans that He has for you. If you have hopes and dreams that have not come true for you, take them to Him. He loves you and He wants your hopes realized and flourishing...a tree of LIFE for you NOW!

Remember Psalm 1? There's that tree again... How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

That says many things to me, but first and foremost to watch who I keep regular company with. Surround yourself with positive, joyful, godly people who will lift you up and edify you before the Lord! The fruit of the Spirit will be abundantly obvious in your life when you are connected to the Vine...Jesus, nourished and growing!

God Bless You!

A life of miracles should be natural for us! (Myspace transfer from March 2009)

March 7, 2009 - Saturday
A life of miracles should be natural for us!

Hey folks!

I am reading an awesome book called WHEN HEAVEN INVADES EARTH - A Practical Guide to a Life of Miracles, by Bill Johnson, pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, CA.

WOW, we ALL need to read it! Bill is a fifth generation pastor who grew up hearing his grandparents tell of Smith Wigglesworth and his ministry and his parents tell of the ministry of Aimee Semple McPherson and speaking of it all still with wonder, as though they were still back in that time experiencing the miracles that took place.

Here is an excerpt:

(It is abnormal for a Christian not to have an appetite for the impossible. It has been written into our spiritual DNA to hunger for the impossibilities around us to bow at the name of Jesus.)

Chapter 2 - Commission Restored

"Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs which God did through Him in your midst..."

Jesus could not heal the sick. Neither could He deliver the tormented from demons or raise the dead. To believe otherwise is to ignore what He said about Himself, and more importantly, to miss the purpose of His self-imposed restriction to live as a man.

Jesus Christ said of Himself, "The Son can do nothing." In the Greek language that word nothing has a unique meaning - it means NOTHING, just like it does in English! He had NO supernatural capabilities whatsoever! While He is 100% God, He chose to live with the same limitations that man would face once He was redeemed. He made that point over and over again. Jesus became the model for all who would embrace the invitation to invade the impossible in His name. He performed miracles, wonders and signs, as a man in right relationship with God...not as God. If He performed miracles because He was God, then they would be unattainable for us. But if He did them as a man, I am responsible to pursue His lifestyle. Recapturing this simple truth changes everything...and makes possible a full restoration of the ministry of Jesus in His Church.

What were the distinctions of His humanity?

1. He had no sin to separate Him from the Father.
2. He was completely dependent on the power of the Holy Spirit working through Him.

What are the distinctions of our humanity?

1. We are sinners cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Through His sacrifice He has successfully dealt with the power and effect of sin for all who believe. Nothing now separates us from the Father. There remains only one unsettled issue -
2. How dependent on the Holy Spirit are you willing to live?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This book is not about seeking miracles, but seeking first the Kingdom of God and then walking in all that restoration and redemption...salvation has opened up to us...heaven invading earth! His commission is our commission.
LUKE 4:18 and Isaiah 61:1 - "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME,
BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR.
HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES,
AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND,
TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,
JOHN 14:12 - I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
Have a blessed day!
My fav Bill Johnson quote!
Royalty is my identity.
Servanthood is my assignment.
Intimacy with God is my life source.
Before God, I'm an intimate.
Before people, I'm a servant.
Before the powers of hell, I'm a ruler
With no tolerance for their influence!
WISDOM knows which role to fulfill
at the proper time.
(quote from Dreaming with God by Bill Johnson, Bethel Church, Redding, CA)
Learn to receive honor, as well as give it. (Myspace transfer from March 21, 2009)
Excerpted from a teaching by Bill Johnson.
If you write a song, write a book, make a beautiful sculpture, cook a meal, or whatever creative thing you do and someone compliments you..."Great song!", "Wonderful book!", and you say, "Oh, it was Jesus!"....NO. If Jesus had sung it/written it/cooked it, it would have been PERFECT! That's religious and it's false humility. You need to learn not only to give honor, but to receive honor. You are made in His image and He is fine with you receiving thanks and honor for something you have created because of Him.
Even unbelievers can write great, beautiful songs, or build wonderful buildings, etc...because they are also made in the image of God. Their creativity cannot possibly come from the devil! The devil is NOT creative! He can only distort something that is already created.
If you receive honor from someone, say, "Thank you, that means a lot to me!" Then when you are on your face before God later, take it out and show it to Him and thank Him that you were allowed to receive honor. Then you give it to Him as an offering...a crown at His feet! To do otherwise is "religious" junk!
WOW!
Hope that blessed you as much as it did me!
Are you satisfied with an empty Pentecost? (MYSPACE transfer from July 2008)
July 27, 2008 - Sunday
Are you satisfied with an empty Pentecost?
Current mood: thankful
Sharing my morning study...
~And yet we are quibbling and wondering if Jesus Christ is big enough for our needs. Let's take the bars down. Let God come into your life. And in the name of Jesus your heart will not be satisfied with an empty Pentecost, but your soul will claim the light of God and the lightening of Jesus to flood your life! Amen!~
That is a quote from the chapter called "The Science of Divine Healing", from the book John G. Lake: The Complete Collection of His Life Teachings as compiled by Roberts Liardon.
I was listening this morning to Pastor Joseph Prince...a sermon on the sheep and the Shepherd and he brought up some experiments that were done on John G. Lake by medical doctors trying to disprove his ability to heal people. The medical doctors watched germ cells die when they came into contact with John G. Lake's skin under a microscope. They watched brain waves go off the charts and proclaimed that John was a genius as they watched as he quoted various scriptures and readings. He told them that he was not a genius, but what they were witnessing was the Holy Spirit at work in him as He spoke and meditated on the Word of God. Awesome stuff!
Here is another excerpt from the same chapter:
~The world lived in darkness for 5000 years and they had no way of lighting a place like this, except by torches or candles. But there was just as much electricity 5000 years ago, as there is today. Somebody found how to handle it, discovered the laws that govern it, learned to apply it to our need. But to this day, there is no man who can tell us what electricity is or what its substance is. We know we can control it this way and guide it that way and make it do this and that, but what it is nobody can tell us. However, down somewhere on the river there is a machine that is called a dynamo, and it draws the electricity out of the air and transmits it over the wires. And these days they are sending it in wireless waves.
Do you know what prayer is? It is not begging God for this and that. The first thing we have to do is to get you beggars to quit begging, until a little faith moves in your soul. Prayer is God's divine generator. The spirit of man is God's divine dynamo. When you go to pray, your spirit gets into motion. Not ten thousand revolutions a minute, but possibly one hundred thousand. The voltage of heaven comes to your heart and it flows from your hands, it burns into the souls of men, and God Almighty's Spirit is applied through you to their need!
....the voltage of heaven and the Power of God! There is lightening in the soul of Jesus! The lightenings of Jesus heals men by its flash; sin dissolves, disease flees when the power of God approaches.~
Earlier in the chapter John was praying and meditating and said, "Has God no interest in these people? And if He has an interest, why is not something done for them? What is the matter with God? Is God unable to help, or does He not care?" My heart was breaking under the burden of it..."God please explain this to me." He said that his heart grew calm and the Spirit said, "The Church which is His body," and I knew my answer. The Church is the ministering presence of the Son of God in the world. The Church is the generating agency of the power of God in the world.
Pastor Myles Munroe taught me that God does nothing apart from us...working through us. Heaven is waiting for earthly license for heavenly interference. We have heard this in different ways from other great teachers of God's Word. Life and death are in your mouth...victory is in your words...healing is in your hands...and in your words.
We know that God is bringing out leaders to wake us up to do the greater works! I pray that we are willing to be awakened! I thank Him for what he is doing in the church!
Peace,
Teresa
The Perfect Husband! (FB transfer from July 22,2010)
The Perfect Husband!
Posted by Teresa Grosz Dalton on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 8:04am.
"I am married unto you."—Jeremiah 3:14.
Christ Jesus is joined unto His people in marriage-union. In love He espoused His Church as a chaste virgin, long before she fell under the yoke of bondage. Full of burning affection He toiled, like Jacob for Rachel, until the whole of her purchase-money had been paid, and now, having sought her by His Spirit, and brought her to know and love Him, He awaits the glorious hour when their mutual bliss shall be consummated at the marriage-supper of the Lamb. Not yet hath the glorious Bridegroom presented His betrothed, perfected and complete, before the Majesty of heaven; not yet hath she actually entered upon the enjoyment of her dignities as His wife and queen: she is as yet a wanderer in a world of woe, a dweller in the tents of Kedar; but she is even now the bride, the spouse of Jesus, dear to His heart, precious in His sight, written on His hands, and united with His person. On earth He exercises towards her all the affectionate offices of Husband. He makes rich provision for her wants, pays all her debts, allows her to assume His name, and to share in all His wealth. Nor will He ever act otherwise to her. The word divorce He will never mention, for "He hateth putting away." Death must sever the conjugal tie between the most loving mortals, but it cannot divide the links of this immortal marriage. In heaven they marry not, but are as the angels of God; yet there is this one marvellous exception to the rule, for in Heaven Christ and His Church shall celebrate their joyous nuptials. This affinity as it is more lasting, so is it more near than earthly wedlock. Let the love of husband be never so pure and fervent, it is but a faint picture of the flame which burns in the heart of Jesus. Passing all human union is that mystical cleaving unto the Church, for which Christ left His Father, and became one flesh with her.
July 22 Morning Reading - Charles Spurgeon
Now how awesome is that??? WOOHOO!
Just yesterday I heard Jack Taylor's wife, Frieda, say that before they met she already had the perfect husband in Him, therefore she was not looking for one. This reading tell us why she could say such a thing! AWESOME TRUTH!
End-Times...How what you believe effects you now! (FB transfer from July 9, 2010)
What you know about the end-times effects how you live in these present times!
Posted by Teresa Grosz Dalton on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 9:42pm.
I recently heard Kris Vallotton say something similar to this: If I had an awesome car that needed refurbishing and I took it to the shop and told them that I need the best of the best done on this car...I want it just like new, but then I informed them that I was fixing it up to drive in a demolition derby, do you understand that they would work on that car differently than if they knew I was going to keep it nice in my garage and only drive it on sunny days to car shows?
He said this to help us to understand that what we know about the end or the outcome will effect the way that we live.
I was taught a futurist view of the end times and I have to say that for 30 something years that has greatly affected how I have lived my life and how I have related to others about their lives and choices. I have recently learned about something called apostolic eschatology and I read a book called VICTORIOUS ESCHATOLOGY by Harold Eberle and Martin Trench. I have to say that it gave me the missing links in all I have learned over the last 3 or 4 years about the Kingdom of God, God's real intentions toward us/me, and how I should be living my life. It is another GLORY in my glory to glory journey and I am elated!
I could not help but to share with you this information! I know that we all have to seek God for ourselves, and many will not receive this as important, but that does not diminish my need to share it with you.
The beginnings of the futurist view of the end times started simply with a vision by a 15 year-old and a footnote in the Scofield Bible. I find that Mr. Eberle and Mr. Trench, along with research in some historical volumes lead me to make a total change of heart and once again I am FREE from what I consider to be wrong teaching, made huge by the enemy to keep me/us living in fear and not truely resting in the goodness of God and the glorious future that we have with Him for eternity!
I got my book from Amazon.com. I hope you will get it and see what you think!
God wants you free!
Here's a small excerpt:
When Jesus came, He brought in the new kingdom. He established the new covenant. The Temple was destroyed. The old religious system ended. The end of the old came in the first century. That was the end-times. It ended the old. The end-times was the period in which God abolished the old by establishing the new. It went from the day Jesus revealed Himself as Messiah to the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in A.D. 70. The apostles were not wrong. They did live in the end-times. We live in new times! In a new kingdom and a new covenant!
Blessings,
Teresa
P.S. I also heard some time back that John the Baptist losing his head in a time when crucifixion was the execution of choice was not by chance. It symbolized the end of an old way of thinking. Jesus was crucified on Golgotha, aka the place of the skull, representing that believers now have the mind of Christ. Jesus came with a government on His shoulders...so many things make such better sense to me now!
Don't forget your POP! (FB transfer from July 16, 2010)
I remember the first time I went into my online banking account. I noticed "POS" before the entries. I thought, what is THAT? I quickly learned that it stood for "point of service", which meant the point of purchase, or the store I had purchased my merchandise in. This came back to my memory this morning while listening to the "Glory to glory" transformation series by Bill Johnson on podcast.
I thought, we should never forget our "POP", point of purchase. Our point of purchase was Calvary, the cross where Jesus gave his body and shed His blood to purchase us, to pay for all of our sins in full, past, present and future and to secure all of the things we could ever need, and all of the destiny He ever intended for us. This has to be our anchor. We are on the other side of the cross, but even on this side, if we stray too far from our POP, we get enamored with ourselves, impressed with ourselves, we get infatuated with gifts and favor and that shuts down the glory to glory that we are meant to operate in. Be infatuated with and focus on Jesus and see yourself becoming more like Him, because 1John 4:17 says, "...as He is, also are we in this world.
Jesus already paved the way, the track has been laid and is well in place. We just need to get on the train. On a train there are no right or left turns to be made, just full steam ahead! We have only one destination, and that is to fully and accurately re-present Jesus on earth!
Hebrews 6:19-20a says:
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us...
Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
Sleeping with the enemy...STOP IT!
When we finally get all of the junk, the busy-ness that we have been taught to do in the name of being a Christian out of the way, and we get the revelation knowledge that just as Jesus did, we have already died in Him, in the waters of baptism we were buried and rose again to new life, and we have ascended...we are already seated in heavenly places in Christ, we can operate/battle the enemy from that place of rest in His completed work, KNOWING that satan truly is under our feet along with all of his evil works. Until we do that,we battle with and give satan authority that he did not previously have. We continue to do the "garden/Adam" thing, and he keeps us going round and round. Even as I write this blog, God is once again pulling me up out of a bad place that I let the enemy take me to in the night. This day I will choose differently than yesterday and walk in the TRUE reality! I will not partner with my enemy today! Satan you ARE under my feet and you have NO control in my life THIS DAY! I pray Kingdom peace,love, joy and righteousness over ME and all of YOU today! Show off for us today Lord! Love you guys!
Abundant blessings! Teresa
Just dirt under my feet? (FB transfer)
I don't want just dirt under my feet!
by Teresa Grosz Dalton on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 1:06pm
Hebrews 2 and other chapters tell us that all things are in subjection to (under the power and authority of) Christ, under His feet. We are His body, so all things are under our feet also. I had this thought...not sure if it's a soulish thought or from the Holy Spirit, but I don't want just dirt under my feet. If I am not operating from the mind of Christ, only dirt will be under my feet. With my mind set on things above, I operate from the third Heaven, where Christ is...and where I am, because Eph 2 says I have been seated in the Heavenlys with Him, and from that vantage point the first AND second heavens where the enemy and his minions operate are UNDER MY FEET! Fighting from up there is the only way to fight! Everything we need is there...our lives are hidden with Christ in God...so go get what you need!
(Addendum) I know these things were already accomplished at the cross...BUT training my mind to operate in this way takes retraining, because the first 30 years of my Christian walk were so mixed with religious STUFF...thank you Jesus for NEW revelation of an ALIVE Word through the power of Your Holy Spirit! Thank you for awesome pastors, teachers, etc...who are passionate about you getting the FULL reward of Your sacrifice on the cross!
Blessings in abundance!
Focus on the Supernatural (transferred from FB notes)
Focus on the Supernatural!
by Teresa Grosz Dalton on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 9:49am
Do you know that Satan will not waste his time counterfieting what is not worth having? He knows the power that music has in our lives and uses it for his devices. Think how all the MORE powerful is music in worshipping God!! The enemy blinds the eyes and minds of men...but how AWESOME that our God is able to OPEN men's eyes and fill their minds with TRUTH! Many of us believe the SUPERNATURAL is a BAD THING, because of the enemy's influence with it. God is the ORIGINATOR of SUPERNATURAL and the enemy works VERY hard to keep us from this truth of the Holy Spirit power that takes the letter of the law, the WORD of God and makes it LIVING AND BREATHING, transforming us into all that God made us to be! Your body is the vehicle...a conduit through which the life of God, His Holy Spirit operates on the earth, but you are more SPIRIT than body...we HAVE to seek the unseen, the things above where Christ is and not be stuck with what we see in front of us.
If you are just trying to live a good Christian life, you are living SO far below all that God intended for you!
(Quote from Seeing the Unseen by Wendy Backlund) There is a law of ATTRACTION that says whatever you focus on, whatever you value, you will see more of. If you begin to value the Holy Spirit and the Spirit realm, you will see more of it. If you insist and train your mind to be totally aware that although I can't see angels in the room...the Word says they are here...although I cannot feel holiness within me, the Word says it's here...although I cannot feel strength within me, the Word says it's here and I'll step out on it! He says He has given you peace, step out in peace, pull it in, say peace is mine...there is nothing to worry about. It's not an emotion that denies the facts, it's just seeing that there is Someone even bigger than the facts...bigger than the issues, bigger than me, bigger than my problem, bigger than my lack...so HUNT and FEED yourself on the SUPERNATURAL! Find out what's going on where Christ is.
We need to be having HEAVENLY encounters with the LIVING GOD! If we aren't, maybe we have Him still entombed in a lifeless Word without the Holy Spirit of God...in unbelief.
Are these Scriptures just meaningless words?
Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 3 (The Message)
1-2 So if you're serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that's where the action is. See things from his perspective.
3-4Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you'll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you.
2 Cor 4:18 (NAS) ...while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Think about it...Jesus did only what He saw His Father do...we are to do what Jesus did and even greater things! That can ONLY be done from a SUPERNATURAL lifestyle through His Holy Spirit! Go in peace and walk in POWER!
Matthew 10:7-8 (New American Standard Bible)
7"And as you go, preach, saying, '(A)The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
8"Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
Urgency, hurriedness, rushing...and the Kingdom (FB transfer)
Urgency, hurriedness, rushing...and the Kingdom
by Teresa Grosz Dalton on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 4:24pm
We in the church have gone so wrong in so many ways.
We have left our first love and the simplicity
of His Gospel. The urgency we have felt, because
of the "end time teachings" has made us skip
right past what God's intentions truly are for us.
We have been made to feel that we must RUSH
to declare the calamity that is about to come on
all men who do not repent and turn to God so that
they may avoid HELL. For YEARS now, they have lived
in this urgency and fear....am I doing enough,
have I told enough people, is their blood on my hands
...and on and on.
First I have to ask, WHERE did we get this from? Do
you realize that in the Garden of Eden,
GOD put 2 trees. We read nowhere that He paced anxiously
awaiting to see what choices would
be made by Adam and we don't see Him sitting Adam down
and saying, "Now Adam, this is serious
stuff. If you make a poor choice I have to put you out
of this beautiful Garden, you will be separated
from my presence as you know it now, you will live
only so many years and then die, you will have to
work by the sweat of your brow to get what you have
here and now freely, I will have to send my Son to fix
all of your poor choices and He will be beaten, mocked
and hung on a cross to die to FIX your poor choice." I'm
thinking that if He had had that conversation with Adam He would
have let us in on it. Without the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil being in the garden, without
a poor choice being in the Garden, the wonderful Garden
of Eden would have been a perfect prison.
God had no fear in giving Adam choices. He already had
the remedy ready waiting in the wings to cover
that if it happened. Likewise today there are good
choices and bad choices, but Jesus Christ,
Our Savior, died and paid the price for sin, past,
present and future. His work was SO complete
that God does not fear the evil that men do...He
weeps over it, but He waits...the Father waiting
for the prodigal son to return...all the while loving
His son and longing for the reunion with him.
The Bible says there is "no fear in love, perfect
love casts out fear". If that is true, then the opposite
is true. "There is no love in fear, fear casts out perfect love."
Now, on to my main point. Jesus said, "Seek first the
Kingdom of God and His righteousness and
all these things will be added to you." "Love the Lord
your God with all your heart, mind, soul and your
neighbor as yourself." (Notice you are to love yourself,
because you are made in the image of God
and you can't love anyone else who is made in the image
of God if you don't love you.) Jesus was
fully man on this earth and was baptized in the Holy Spirit,
we are fully men and are baptized in the
Holy Spirit...and are to do the works that Jesus did and even
greater works. We are to pray, "Your Kingdom come on earth
as it is in Heaven." The Kingdom of God is in our hearts and in our minds,
and what is in there will become what is around us...it
will overflow into the world around you and
change takes place to the glory of God! The goodness of
God brings men to repentance. When Jesus spoke of His death,
burial and resurrection, he called the disciples aside...
He never proclaimed all of that to the multitudes. You saw
Him walking in mercy, love and compassion to those around
Him and that is what we are to do.
If you believe that Jesus' work on the cross was COMPLETE,
you have to know that all men are unpunishable, all their
sin atoned for! We have to love men where they are, in
their sin, just like Jesus did..."while we were yet sinners
He died for us". See the person that Jesus loves in them, and
you will see people change, not by religion and religious
works, but by the love of God. When you operate in the gifts
of the Spirit, it has to be in the character of God, in His
love. Fear of men's sin makes us different people than what
God wants us to be in Him...it casts out our love for them
and in our minds entitles us to judge them and bring them
under condemnation for their sin. There is a huge difference
in condemnation and conviction of sin (and the Holy Spirit
will bring conviction, not us), and there is also a huge
difference in discipline (discipling) and punishment.
Jesus already took the punishment.
I say all of that to say that God wants all religion
stripped away from us, He wants us to understand that His
Son came with a government on His shoulders, not a religion.
It was the government of the Kingdom restored to us, and most
of all relationship with God restored. Everything else flows
out of those things...relationship and right standing!
Kingdom will manifest in us and around us and once
again we will have dominion on this earth...it's what
we were made for!
I beg of you, let's do what Jesus gave us to do and stop
trying to scare people into the Kingdom with
doom and gloom tactics! That may work for a season, but
you will soon look around and most of them
will be back out into the world. There is no fear in
the Kingdom of love!
Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,
Teresa
Kingdom 101 (repost from my FB)
Kingdom 101...or the most important message you may ever read!by Teresa Grosz Dalton on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 11:05pm
Did you know that there is no word for "freedom" in the Japanese, Arab and some other cultures? There is a word in those cultures which is "honor". Do you know that in the Jewish culture that if a young woman dishonored her family by having sex outside of marriage she was put to death and that if she wasn't the whole family was put to death by the colony? When you are taught that it is an honor to die for your culture/beliefs, do you know that it makes for a very hard enemy to defeat. When the Japanese pilots were willing to crash their planes into ships to serve their country, they were very hard to fight off. When radical Muslims believe they earn eternity in paradise by strapping on a bomb and blowing it and themselves up in the midst of a crowded restaurant or by flying planes loaded with passengers into buildings, this makes them a terrible foe. I say that to make the point that culture is more powerful than politics.
Heaven is the center of God's power. It is a divine, invisible, supernatural country. God's plan was and is to extend the Kingdom of Heaven from the celestial realm of Heaven, to the terrestrial realm of earth. He wants to extend His glory/His nature from Heaven to earth. All kingdoms expand and this is called colonization.
If you don't understand that mankind was created by God to expand the Kingdom of Heaven to earth and that earth was created to be the territory on which Heaven expands its kingdom, then the Bible and the teachings of Jesus will not make sense to you.
Every colony has a governor or a person who turns the territory into the kingdom he comes from by teaching his/the kingdoms ways to the colonists. The governor of Heaven is the Holy Spirit, the most important person on earth, who was sent to earth to live in us and to teach us to expand the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
So to summarize...Earth was made by God as an extension of Heaven, so that God could colonize earth with Heaven through believers indwelt by His Spirit, His spirit sons in dirt bodies.
The divine assignment of God for mankind is:
1. To establish a colony of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.
2. To establish the Kingdom government of Heaven on earth.
3. To colonize earth with Heaven.
4. To make earth a colony of Heaven.
5. To fill the earth with the culture of Heaven.
6. The key to colonization is the governor whose purpose is to make the kingdom manifest in the colony by transforming the people into the culture of the kingdom. The Holy Spirit is with us forever and He is here to transform earth into the culture of Heaven through the colony of humans who submit to His authority.
You can kill our most heinous enemies, but you cannot kill their ideas...their beliefs/teachings/culture by killing them. Their ideas are the ideas of satan, the enemy who lives in and controls them and those ideas will live on in the people submitted to his authority. You can only fight a bad idea with a better idea...the best idea! Jesus and the Kingdom of Heaven are God's idea...His plan and He indwells US!
Another problem arises...those now controlled by the enemy, Jesus is in love with! He made all things, all men...satan owns NOTHING! Some say rock n roll is the devil's music...but he does not own music...just as he is illegal in the bodies of those now under his control! We are to be finding the sheep in wolves clothing and searching out the gold in them. They need to know who they really are...who they were destined to be! The saying, "Kill 'em all and let God sort 'em out!", is just another bad idea that satan would love for us to believe in! We want Jesus to get His FULL reward!
If you believe that the earth is just going to get worse and worse until Jesus comes and grabs you up out of it...you will live a powerless life, basically just waiting to escape the trials of life. The earth is getting better and better as the Kingdom of Heaven advances and we take it into all of the places that we go! Be a part of LIFE and DESTINY! Jesus will come back to the earth...and not even He knows when, so let's get busy with the task at hand...destroying the works of an unemployed cherub...satan!
Blessings,
Teresa
